Hello! I’m Jaleigh —

a writer, photographer, and storyteller for all of your seasons

I’m a lot of things… but calling myself a storyteller sums it all up.

Storytelling allows me to acknowledge patterns that connect and conceptualize humanity's phenomena as a whole. Through my words and photos, I have the power to coalesce thought and profoundly communicate life beyond the years that I will live on earth. Matched with my journalism background, the objectivity and truth-telling I commit to shines in being the medium of connection, the platform of exchange. The stories I tell aren’t mine; they are gifts I am trusted to breathe life into.

You can find my work most prominently throughout the southeastern United States, and also in the Dominican Republic, Saudi Arabia, and Nepal. I’ve worked with projects of all scales — with individuals capturing their most important moments, non-profits centering their work in rural communities, B-corps partnering with their products to make sustained global impacts, and larger organizations working in tandem with the United Nations.

The value of my life-experience is contingent on exchange. I hope to continue to form partnerships that respect the vast, diverse cultural landscapes this world offers in an attempt to transcend connection — through storytelling.
